Barrett Steel Buildings specialise in design and build structural steelwork. They provide low and medium-rise steelwork solutions in education, health, retail, commercial, car parking and distribution, producing a turnover in excess of £25 million.

2006 and 2007 was a sustainable success for Barrett Steel Buildings. They developed and implemented a sustainability policy, provided hard evidence of how they were progressing and produced sustainable designs for leading environmental and socially responsible developments. They became the first steelwork contractor to gain a Gold Standard within the BCSA Sustainability charter and the first steelwork contractor in the world to have developed a carbon footprint.
