Stuart has also worked at the Sustainable Development Commission as a policy officer and has a BSC in Environmental Science from the University of Nottingham, where he won the Student Environment Prize for a dissertation on environmental auditing (awarded 1st class).
Steven Moore - Assistant Manager
Having finished his undergraduate degree at University College London, Steven then worked and studied in Japan for two years. He returned to pursue an MSc in Environmental Technology at Imperial College, specialising in Environmental Economics and Policy. The studies included examining the different ways of accounting for environmental externalities, such a carbon emissions, in markets. For his thesis he travelled to India to examine the sustainability of different modes of transport in Delhi, focusing on environmental, economic and social perspectives. Steven joined dcarbon8 because they bring these three perspectives to businesses, helping them to be successful and sustainable.
Since joining dcarbon8, Steven has improved the accuracy of business carbon footprinting, as well as developing an online carbon calculator, soon to be available on the Planet Positive website. He works with clients to measure and reduce their carbon emissions from business operations, using the Global Reporting Initiative to create Sustainability Reports that show their progress with Key Performance Indicators.
